By booking through Home Away Assist, you agree to the terms below.

2. Who We Are

Home Away Assist is a UAE-based care coordination service providing bespoke care solutions for travellers
from the Gulf region visiting the UK. We partner exclusively with CQC-registered UK care providers.
As your care coordinator, we manage care plan development, provider matching, and communication,
ensuring peace of mind and reliable support throughout your stay.

3. Services Offered

We coordinate, but do not directly provide, the following services:

  • General Care: Personal assistance, housekeeping, medication help
  • Specialized Care: Dementia, live-in, respite, mental health support
  • Companionship & Support: Mobility help, emotional support, outings

All care is delivered by independent, certified UK providers.

4. Eligibility

Our services are available to all age groups.
Users under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian.

5. Bookings & Payments

  • Services must be booked in advance.
  • Payments must be made in AED, USD, or GBP via:
    • PayPal
    • Bank transfer
  • Bookings are confirmed only once full payment has been received.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds are not generally available, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Please confirm your needs and dates carefully before booking.

7. Role and Responsibility

  • Home Away Assist acts solely as a coordinator and intermediary.
  • Services are delivered by third-party providers, not by our staff.
  • We conduct due diligence and only engage CQC-registered UK providers, but cannot guarantee outcomes, availability, or suitability of specific providers.
  • We are not liable for the actions, errors, or omissions of third parties.

8. User Conduct

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Treat carers and staff respectfully
  • Not misuse the website or services

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services in cases of abuse or misuse.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content is the property of Home Away Assist
and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays, dissatisfaction, or issues with third-party providers
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence,
fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Third-Party Services

As services are delivered by independent partners, their terms, practices, and policies may apply.

Continued use of our services after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
